The size of the movie (in kilobytes) is noted after each
entry. |

This is an X-Ray image taken during an ERCP, while dye
is being injected into the Bile Duct and Gallbladder.
Note the round object on the left getting larger. That
is the Gallbladder. The dark white line leading up to it
is the Bile Duct. |

This is an X-Ray image taken during an ERCP. The
tree-like structure on the top is the Biliary Tree, or
tubes that collect the bile within the liver. The bile
then travels down the bile duct to the intestine. |

The Endoscope is used to examine the Intestine. This
video is the Endoscope moving down the Esophagus into
the Stomach. |

corresponding video, on the left. |

The Colonoscope is used to examine the Colon. This video
shows the inner walls of the Colon while the Colonoscope
is slowly advanced. |

This is a video of the inner wall of the Stomach, while
another physician is pushing on the outer wall of the
abdomen. Notice how pushing easily on the outside causes
the inner wall of the Stomach to move so much. |

To place a tube directly into the Stomach, the Endoscope
is placed in the stomach while a second physician pushes
on the outer wall of the abdomen. When a suitable
location is found, the skin is sterilized and numbed.
Then a needle is passed through the skin into the inside
of the Stomach. You can see the needle pierce the inner
wall of the Stomach and come towards the Endoscope. |

This video follows the one above. The needle is seen in
the Stomach, and a special device is used through the
Endoscope to grasp the catheter around the needle.

This is the third in the sequence of the last two
showing a wire being passed through the catheter in the
Stomach and being grasped then pulled up the Esophagus. |

|
This video is the last of the sequence, showing a tube
having been passed over the wire into the Stomach. The
tube in pulled into position, and feeding through the
tube can be begun. The entire procedure is relatively
painless. |

This video shows a large tumor, or growth, inside the
Colon. It is bleeding a bit, and is around about 3/4 of
the entire inner wall. It had to be surgically removed. |

|
The inner wall of the Colon has blood vessels just as
the rest of the digestive tract. Large veins can be seen
as dark twisted lines, while the Colonoscope is moved
back and forth in order to examine the entire wall of
the bowel. |
